TAIL TOWN – BOARDING & GROOMING AGREEMENT, WAIVER, AND RELEASE
By using services provided by Tail Town, including but not limited to dog boarding, daycare, grooming, bathing, handling, feeding, walking, transportation, or any related pet care services, the pet owner agrees to the following terms and conditions:

Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in grooming, boarding, and interaction with other animals carries inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, stress, illness, injury, escape, bites, scratches, accidents, allergic reactions, or, in rare cases, death. I voluntarily accept these risks on behalf of my pet(s). -
Health & Behavior Disclosure
I certify that my pet(s) are in good health and free from contagious illness unless otherwise disclosed in writing. I agree to inform Tail Town of any medical conditions, behavioral concerns, aggression, anxiety, past bite history, escape tendencies, injuries, or special care needs prior to services being provided. -
Veterinary Care Authorization
In the event of illness, injury, or emergency, Tail Town is authorized to seek veterinary treatment for my pet if I cannot be reached promptly. I understand that every reasonable effort will be made to contact me first. I agree to assume full responsibility for all veterinary costs incurred on behalf of my pet, including emergency transportation and treatment expenses. I acknowledge that despite reasonable care and precautions, serious injury or death may occur in rare circumstances. -
Grooming Risks
I understand that grooming equipment and procedures involve inherent risks, especially for elderly pets, anxious pets, matted coats, thin skin, pre-existing conditions, or difficult behavior. Minor nicks, clipper irritation, stress, or exposure of pre-existing skin conditions may occur despite reasonable care. Tail Town will not be held liable for complications resulting from pre-existing conditions or matting-related grooming procedures, including severe injury or death resulting from undisclosed health conditions. -
Boarding & Group Interaction
I understand that dogs may interact with other dogs during boarding or supervised activities unless otherwise arranged. While Tail Town takes precautions to maintain a safe environment, injuries may still occur through normal animal behavior and play, including, in rare cases, serious injury or death. -
Property Damage & Personal Belongings
I understand that Tail Town is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left with my pet, including collars, leashes, beds, blankets, toys, or food containers. I accept responsibility for any damage caused by my pet to the Tail Town property, equipment, other animals, or people. -
Escape & Unforeseen Incidents
While reasonable precautions are taken to maintain a secure environment, I acknowledge that animals are unpredictable and escapes or unforeseen incidents may occur. Tail Town will not be held liable for incidents outside of reasonable control, including injury, illness, theft, disappearance, or death resulting from unforeseen circumstances. -
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Tail Town, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from liability for injury, illness, loss, damage, theft, disappearance, or death arising from services provided, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct. -
Comfort and Safety Measures
In extremely rare cases, if a dog exhibits very excessive, persistent barking that significantly disrupts the rest, safety, or well-being of other dogs in our care, Tail Town reserves the right to utilize humane bark-management devices, including vibration or bark-control collars. Such devices will be used at our discretion, monitored appropriately, and only when deemed necessary for the comfort and welfare of dogs in the facility. -
Photo & Social Media Release
I grant Tail Town permission to photograph or video my pet(s) for use on social media, advertising, or promotional materials unless I request otherwise in writing. -
Agreement to Terms
By using Tail Town services, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to these terms and conditions. I certify that I am at least 18 years old and legally authorized to make decisions for my pet(s).
I declare that the information provided is accurate and truthful to the best of my knowledge.
